During your Report of Findings, your doctor will review your results, explain what we found, and discuss any recommended next steps. Your $29 experience does not include a chiropractic adjustment or additional HyperWave treatments.
No. A chiropractic adjustment is not included in the $29 offer. Because we want to understand your individual needs before recommending care, your doctor will first complete your consultation, examination and any necessary X-rays.
If chiropractic care is recommended, we’ll discuss those options with you at your Report of Findings before moving forward.
No. While your initial visit includes the same thorough consultation and examination we provide our chiropractic patients, you are not required to begin chiropractic care.
At your Report of Findings, your doctor will review your results and recommendations with you. If you’re a candidate for chiropractic care, a chiropractic care plan may be presented. If additional HyperWave therapy is recommended, that plan will be presented separately.
You choose what makes sense for you. You may choose chiropractic care, HyperWave therapy, both, or neither. There is no obligation to begin a recommended care plan simply because you took advantage of the $29 experience.
Most patients describe HyperWave therapy as intense for approximately 20–40 seconds, but not painful. Treatment is focused directly on the area of concern, and your provider will work with you throughout the session based on your comfort and response.
HyperWave treatments themselves typically take 5-7 minutes.
However, your first visit that includes the Consultation, Examination and Imaging will take aprox 30-45 minutes.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows us easy access to the area being treated.
For example, if we’re treating your shoulder, a sleeveless or loose-fitting shirt is helpful. If we’re treating your lower back or hip area, comfortable clothing with a loose or elastic waistband is ideal.
If your clothing doesn’t allow us to properly access the treatment area, don’t worry, we can provide a disposable gown when needed.
HyperWave isn’t appropriate for everyone. Certain health conditions, medications, implants, recent procedures or other circumstances may mean treatment isn’t recommended or that additional precautions are necessary.
Please let your doctor know before treatment if you:
- Are pregnant
- Have an active infection
- Have cancer or a tumor
- Have a blood-clotting disorder or take blood-thinning medication
- Have a pacemaker or other electronic implant
- Have an open wound, sore, infection or abnormal skin condition in or near the treatment area
- Have had a recent fracture or surgery
- Have metal implants or hardware in or near the treatment area
Your doctor will review your health history and determine whether HyperWave is appropriate for you before treatment.
It depends. Every patient and condition is different, which is why we start with an evaluation rather than recommending the same number of treatments for everyone.
If your doctor determines that additional HyperWave treatments may benefit you, we’ll discuss a personalized treatment plan with you. HyperWave treatment packages are available, and both the recommended number of visits and pricing will vary based on your individual plan.
There is no obligation to purchase a package after your initial $29 experience.
HyperWave treatments are not billed directly to insurance through our office. Payment is due at the time of service.
If you would still like to submit your treatment to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, we can provide you with a superbill containing the necessary visit information for you to submit on your own.
Reimbursement is determined entirely by your individual insurance plan, so we cannot guarantee that your insurance company will cover or reimburse HyperWave treatments.
